At the Downtown Cabaret Children’s Theater is Goldie Locks
Welcome to the BIG TOP CIRCUS. A world full of magic, and wonder awaits as we meet the stars of the circus, the Clowns, the Old Lion, The Giraffe Sisters, Goldie Locks, and of course, The Three Bears. Our bears sing and dance to a brand new tuneful score that will have you humming and dancing along. Goldie Locks, our escape artist, is the great niece of Uncle Houdini, who owns the circus. Goldie Locks is not happy that the bears are the stars of the circus, and when she finds out that her uncle is giving the circus to her on her 18th birthday, she causes quite an upset. She begins to take over by invading the bears' dressing room. She eats their food, sits in their chairs, and even sleeps in their beds! The animals call a meeting to decide how they are going to get back at Goldie Locks, but the wise Old Lion convinces them all that nothing will ever be gained by anger. Goldie Locks, who thinks she can get out of anything, creates a new act, but the first attempt at escape goes horribly wrong. In spite of her cruelty to them, The Bears come to her rescue. Goldie Locks sees the error of her ways, and vows never to be selfish again. She gives the Bears their starring billing back and the circus goes on to delight young and old once again.
