A
Pantomime in the British style! And we should make it very clear: THERE
IS ABSOLUTELY NO MIMING IN BRITISH PANTOMIMES. None whatsoever. Imagine
American musical comedy with vaudeville routines. There are tuneful
songs, funny jokes, and lots and lots of audience participation. So
bring the kids, bring granny, bring the whole family and come and have
fun! Fun, Laughter, and Happily Ever After.
At the Kweskin Theatre is The Tortoise and the Hare on December 5.
Based on the fable The Tortoise and the Hare by Aesop
At
Creekwood Elementary, the day of the big race is approaching. School
bully Harvey Hare has always ruled the roost, but this year, there's a
competitor: Tommy Tortoise. Will Tommy win the race, and the new shell
that comes with it? Will Cindy the Snail be brave enough to tell Tommy
about her feelings? Will Harvey learn about the true meaning of
friendship? Find out with this contemporary re-telling full of comedy,
music, and adventure.
Perfect for the entire family! Best for Ages 7+ / Grades 2+
