The musical story of a girl who can’t stop eating pink cupcakes. Ignoring all advice, she lands up in the Dr.’s office with Pinkititis, having turned pink from head to toe! What to do?!

The Hartt School Announces the New England Premiere of THE HOTEL CASABLANCA
The Hartt School will present the New England premiere of Thomas Pasatieri’s The Hotel CasablancaThursday, February 2, through Saturday, February 4, at 7:30 PM, and Sunday, February 5, at 3:00 PM, in Millard Auditorium, University of Hartford, 200 Bloomfield Avenue, West Hartford.

Bethel High School presents Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka, the musical version, Feb. 3 and 4 at 7 p.m., and Sun., Feb. 5, at 2 p.m.
Roald Dahl's timeless story of the world famous candy man and his quest to find an heir comes to life in this stage adaptation of Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, which features the songs from the classic family film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

Theater Auditions January 30


The Sherman Playhouse is seeking a cast of three: for its debut production of the 2012 season, Frank D. Gilroy’s Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-Winning play, The Subject was Roses on January 30, at 9:00pm.

Darien Arts Center’s Cabaret Theatre auditions for the musical, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, on Mon.-Tues., Jan 30 and 31 at 7 p.m..

The Town Players of New Canaan hold auditions for Sweet Bird of Youth by Tennessee Williams and Directed by Gary Battaglia next Monday February 6 and Tuesday February 7 at 8PM.

The Brewster Theater Company Auditions Blithe Spirit on February 6 and 7 from 7 to 9 pm.
Call Backs will be February 9 at 7 pm.

Performances for or by Children & Young adults

The Downtown Cabaret Children’s Theatre, presents Pinkalicious The Musical, running Jan. 15 through Feb 19.
The musical story of a girl who can’t stop eating pink cupcakes. Ignoring all advice, she lands up in the Dr.’s office with Pinkititis, having turned pink from head to toe! What to do?!

The Ridgefield Playhouse presents Jack and the Beanstalk January 28 at 11:00am and 2:00pm.
Join our modern day young hero as he uses his imagination to become the famous Jack from the book he is reading. As he spins the tale of trading the family cow for three magic beans, we watch the giant beanstalk grow and let our imaginations soar as our hero climbs through the clouds to meet an ill- tempered giant, find fabulous treasures and more adventures than you can shake a stalk at.

The Westport Country Playhouse presents Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales, on Sun., Jan. 29, 1 and 4 p.m., for ages 4-10.
Poor Jack. He's got to use his wits to save himself from the terrible Giant, but a host of familiar fairytale characters keep messing up his plans-and then there's that annoying Stinky Cheese Man! The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales deconstructs the tradition of the fairy tale. Characters slide in and out of tales; Cinderella rebuffs Rumpelstiltskin, and Goldilocks meets the Three Elephants. Nothing is quite the same as you remember it.

Theater Auditions January 23


Curtain Call, Inc. Holds auditions for Rodgers and Hammerstein's classic musical, The Sound of Music on Monday and Tuesday, January 23 & 24 beginning at 7pm each night. Youth auditions (age 5 - 16) were held on Sunday. ALL ROLES ARE OPEN - non-union actors only.

Equity Principal Open Auditions for the Ivoryton Playhouse production of Always…Patsy Cline by Ted Swindley are by appointment only: In Connecticut on Tuesday, January 24 between 10am – 6pm and in New York City  Friday, January 27 between 1pm – 5pm

Seven Angels Theatre is currently seeking Non-Union Singers and Actors for Teddy and Alice  on Wednesday, January 25 from 5-8pm; Saturday January 28 from 3-6pm; and Sunday January 29 from 5-8pm. Auditions will be BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.

Performances for or by Children & Young adults


There is still seating at the additional performance: Sunday, January 15th at 4 pm. for the Ridgefield Theatre Barn production of PINKALICIOUS.  
Based on the book by Victoria Kann and Elizabeth Kann, Pinkalicious can't stop eating pink cupcakes despite warnings from her parents. Her pink indulgence lands her at the doctor's office with Pinkititis, an affliction that turns her pink from head to toe.  When her hue goes too far, only Pinkalicious can figure out a way to get out of this pink predicament.  Pinkalicious the Musical is about learning the power of self-control and the importance of moderation.

Theater Auditions January 9

TheatreWorks New Milford holds Auditions for The Irish Curse, on January 9 & 10 from 7:00 - 9:00pm at the Theatre.

The Connecticut Cabaret Theatre  auditions for their 15th ANNIVERSARY SEASON, including Avenue Q, All Shook Up, Steel Magnolias and more on Monday and Tuesday, January 9 and 10 at the Theatre from 7 P.M..

Auditions for Witness for the Prosecution will be held at Warner Stage Company Studio Theatre on Monday and Tuesday, January 9 and 10 at 7:15 P.M..  All roles are available, Non-Union, No Pay.

Playhouse on Park is SEEKING NON EQUITY ACTORS for the MUSICAL, All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten, based on the book by Robert Fulghum conceived and adapted by Ernest Zulia with music and lyrics by David Caldwell and Directed and staged by Joseph Keach-Longo Monday, January 9th, 7:30 - 9:30pm (no appointment needed).

Open call auditions for Lend Me a Tenor at the Bridgeport Theatre Company will be Saturday January 14 between 11am to 2pm and Sunday January 15 from noon to 3 P.M.. For convenience limited appointment time slots are available.  Appointments are not necessary, however they are recommended.
